Wildfire Road

This project required a mixture of welding, carpentry and painting. I took on the majority of the welding, creating a staircase for the actors to move around and climb up during the show.

I also contributed to building flats, painting and alongside another scenic artist painted a 4880mm×2440mm world map. Finally I challenged my sewing skills by upholstering 6 recycled plane seats.

We installed the show at Greenwich theatre working alongside the other technical departments, as several elements where flown in and out during the show on hemp lines.

Modern Classics Season

Working within a team of five scenics I helped create 4 shows across 2 venues within 6 weeks.

I took on the majority of the welding including a 4.5 meter hanging frame with fabric suspended from it, 3 x ten-meter-long lintels and, 6 x upright columns that were clad in MDF and painted with a concrete effect.

All five of us worked on the fit ups and get outs working alongside the other technical departments to install everything.

I worked under a team of three managers helping with constuction, painting and installation. I did a lot of the colour mixing. Also helping with fitting the three monitor screens into the flats.
